Absolutely not! We focus on Classical Feng Shui principles which requires placement and use of items/elements related to the 5 elements (Water, Wood, Fire, Earth & Metal). If cures are suggested, they should be items that you can easily source yourself outside.

You can definitely learn basics for general improvements (e.g., decluttering, basic Bagua map applications for some schools). Many find this helpful. However, for complex situations, accurate assessment (especially with compass schools like Flying Stars), or significant life issues, a professional consultation from an experienced Feng Shui master is often recommended as they can provide nuanced and personalized advice that generic tips can’t cover.

A Feng Shui master analyzes and harmonizes the energy (Qi) of your property to improve well-being, prosperity, and relationships.

It begins by assessing both the external environment (like surrounding landscape, roads, and buildings) and the internal layout. This includes how energy flows through rooms, the placement of doors, windows, and key furniture like beds, desks, and stoves.

The next step is looking at crucial information, such as occupant time and birth dates (for personalizing directions) and the property’s age/construction year.  Specialized tools, most notably the Luo Pan (a complex Feng Shui compass), to take precise directional readings.

Applying principles from various Feng Shui schools (e.g., Form School, Compass School, Five Elements theory), the next step is to diagnose energetic imbalances, identify negative energy (“Sha Qi”), and pinpoint areas where positive Qi can be enhanced.

Finally,  practical recommendations (“cures”) are identified. These can range from simple furniture rearrangements, using specific materials, or adding the 5 elements ( Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal) where necessary and suggesting minor structural changes (only if needed). The goal is to create a supportive and harmonious environment tailored to the occupants. Proper explanation on the reasoning behind their suggestions will be given.

External Environment: Avoid properties facing T-junctions, sharp corners (‘poison arrows’), cemeteries, hospitals, or overly ‘yin’ (stagnant) areas. Look for good ‘Ming Tang’ (bright hall) at the front, if possible.
Layout: Rectangle / Square layouts are preferred over irregular ones due missing corners.
